Pinhole Assist serves as a valuable tool for both traditional and digital pinhole photography enthusiasts, along with view camera photography and wet-plate photography. Its versatile range of aperture settings and sensitivity (starting from 0.05 ASA) caters to various mediums like film, photo paper, wet-plate photography, and of course, pinhole photography.

<li>Manual input option for EV readings from any light meter</li>
<li>Option to enter time metering for reciprocity effect computation</li>
<li>Exposition timer and bubble level for precise shots</li>
<li>In-depth light meter features including spot-metering and incident metering</li>
<li>Aperture input selection from a predefined list of over 170 pinhole cameras or manual computation</li>
<li>Automatic compensation for film reciprocity (incorporating over 60 different curves) or manual curve adjustments</li>
<li>Capability to save, restore, and preset combinations of aperture settings, predefined cameras, ASA values, and reciprocity settings</li>
<li>Diverse selection of built-in filters (e.g., red filter, ND filter) with easy access to favorites and option to add custom filters</li>
<li>Detailed logging of shot information including preview image, exposure data, metering details, location tagged on an interactive map, date of the shot</li>
<li>Export function available in various formats such as picture file, CSV, or JSON file</li>

You can create custom films within Pinhole Assist and develop or adjust reciprocity curves as needed. Utilize iTunes on Mac/PC for importing/exporting film data or share films via email (refer to the app's website for detailed instructions).

<li>Enhanced timer functionality where tapping the chronometer icon initiates the timer seamlessly creating a log automatically</li>
<li>Edit the aperture or selected camera settings corresponding to your camera+film combination (combo), adjusting film speed and reciprocity values easily</li>
<li>Selecting a film reciprocity setting also automatically sets the film speed as required</li>
<li>Diverse library of over 100 films including options like Multigrade paper and Harman positive paper available</li>
<li>A wide variety of over 250 pinhole and zone plate camera models supported, ranging from well-known brands to unique designs like Ondu, Diana, Holga, Sténoflex, Reality soSubtle, Lensless, Ilford, and many more</li>

For cameras beyond the listed models, customized settings can be configured in the app.

In the Settings section:

<li>Scales adjustment available in increments of ½ EV or ⅓ EV for fine-tuning exposure settings</li>
<li>Bellows correction feature can be enabled/disabled conveniently for view camera users</li>
<li>Precision adjustments allowed for cell and incident metering constants</li>
<li>Option to start the timer automatically or manually as per preference</li>
<li>Behavior customization for log entries available for enhanced usability.</li>

Please note: Pinhole Assist functions solely as an exposure calculator and does not capture images directly. It is tailored to facilitate traditional (or DSLR) photograph creation using a pinhole camera.
